LCR Honda Team owner and former motorbike Champion
The LCR Honda Team was born from the determination of Lucio Cecchinello, a former 125cc rider who turned his passion into a professional organization that has become a benchmark in the MotoGP world.
Since its debut in the premier class in 2006, the team has achieved success with top riders such as Casey Stoner, Jack Miller, and Alex Marquez. Cecchinello remains the driving force behind the team, leading it with the same energy as in the early days. LCR represents a blend of technical expertise and racing spirit, able to nurture young talents and support technical partners in the continuous development of the RC213V.
With nearly thirty years of presence in the paddock, LCR Honda is now a stable partner of Honda in MotoGP. The team plays a key role in the development of the RC213V and serves as a natural destination for riders from the Idemitsu Honda Team Asia program. This very collaboration gave rise to the recognizable double livery of the LCR bikes, a symbol of an international project that blends tradition and innovation.
In the world of motorcycle racing, every detail counts. That’s why, in 2019, the LCR Honda Team—founded by Lucio Cecchinello, a former rider who had the foresight to start his own team in 1996—chose 3D Beta to create a highly functional workshop dedicated to the racing department. With over 50 professionals and more than 100 podiums across the 125, 250, MotoGP, and MotoE categories, LCR stands as a benchmark in global motorcycling. Constant evolution is an unwritten rule in this sector, and it was precisely to improve the efficiency and organization of their technical spaces that the collaboration with 3D Beta was born. The company designed and outfitted a modern workshop, refined down to the smallest detail—where aesthetics and practicality merge to best support the team’s daily operations. This project helped make the racing department more organized, more efficient, and a better place to work, confirming 3D Beta’s role as a strategic partner for those operating at the highest level.
LCR Honda is much more than just a team: it is a solid, innovative organization with its sights set firmly on the future. With passion, expertise, and an international outlook, it continues to write important chapters in MotoGP history, season after season.
