Founded in 1980 in Concorezzo, Tatuus began as a family-run workshop, building its first single-seaters for Formula Monza. After early successes—including winning the 1983 championship—the company grew by designing cars for the Formula König, won by a young Michael Schumacher. In the 1990s, Tatuus entered Formula Renault with Gianfranco De Bellis, securing numerous European titles. Since 2014, it has been the official supplier for both Italian and international Formula 4.
With over 1,700 single-seaters produced and countless victories, Tatuus stands out for its innovation and passion.
The Tatuus brand is a global symbol of motorsport, competition, and engineering. From its headquarters in Lainate, hundreds of single-seaters are produced each year—cars that serve as the first step for drivers on their path to major international championships.
Every day, the Tatuus team works to design and manufacture top-quality race cars, also providing trackside support, spare parts, and high-level technical assistance.
