About
Yamaha Moto R&D Europe

Founded in the early 2000s, Yamaha Motor R&D Europe (YMRE) was established to meet the needs of European markets with a localized approach to design. Over time, YMRE has grown by integrating highly qualified professionals across Europe and now employs over 100 people. Starting with the development of scooters and small-displacement motorcycles, it has evolved to produce successful models such as the XMAX, TRACER, and Ténéré 700. With a future-oriented vision, YMRE combines Yamaha’s DNA with European culture, pursuing innovation, excitement, and electrification—also thanks to its synergy with Yamaha’s racing division.

EFFICIENCY AND CUSTOMIZATION

Within its prototype assembly department, Yamaha R&D Europe felt the need to completely renew the technical furniture.

Unlike a typical workshop, this space required highly customized solutions designed to support precision work and optimize every available square meter.

ERGONOMICS AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS

For this reason, Yamaha R&D Europe entrusted 3D Beta, which brought its design expertise and the ability to customize every element of the furniture—not only in color but also in functionality. Each workstation was carefully designed to integrate seamlessly with the operational flow and meet the practical needs of the technical team.

The result is a completely renovated, efficient, and ergonomic workspace where every detail helps improve operational conditions and productivity. Thanks to the collaboration with 3D Beta, Yamaha R&D Europe has transformed its workshop into a tailor-made space for innovation.

Furniture is no longer just a functional element but becomes an integral part of the innovation process, helping to create an efficient, organized, and tailor-made workspace for those who design the future every day.
